Great affordable printer Lincoln Gergar For this review I decided I that Kodak ESP 7250 compared to similar priced models from Canon, HP and Epson. All four models are wireless all-in-One inkjet printer (printer / scanner / copier). Basic summary of Kodak ESP 7250-35-second warm after shift. - Prints almost immediately. The secondary heat up before every print job. - The colors are not as bright as the competition, but very natural looking. - Prints very quiet. Minimal body shake while printing. - Two-sided printing. - Separate paper tray, photo tray. - Digital menu on the printer is great. Very easy to navigate and opportunities. Very intuitive user interface. - Small footprint. Less than competing. - The most attractive designs in this price class. Smooth lines. Not too Techy. - Cheap ink. Low-cost producer of ink than the competitors. Very big plus. Kodak ESP vs. 7250: 1) Canon PIXMA MX870 - Kodak is quieter, faster prints, looks better - the quality of Canon papers a little 'better - but not much better. Most people will not notice the difference. - Canon is stronger during printing, shakes a lot and takes longer to warm up and print. - Canon has more buttons. Kodak has a better menu system. Conclusion: Canon is more business. Kodak is the family. 2) HP Photosmart Premium - HP touch-screen menu is impressive. - Both have similar print quality. HP is a little 'bright colors. Kodak is more natural (light colors). - HP is warming slightly faster than a few seconds. - Both print speeds of, equal to the noise and vibration printer also (almost nothing). - The footprint nearly equal. - The two designs are visually appealing. - HP ink is more expensive. Conclusion: The printers are very similar. HP touch screen is impressive. Kodak's ink is cheaper. 3) Artisan Epson - Epson 5-ink printing system, amazing! Best in Class. - The Epson ink is expensive. - Kodak printer is visually appealing - Kodak prints faster. - Kodak has a better menu system. CONCLUSION: Epson print beautiful photos. Kodak is a more affordable all-around printer. In the land of printers, there are people who have great photos to print (like Epson), which are very cranky (like the HP touch screen), those working horses (Canon) and those who are just fine, half of the road, a few bells, whistles, not printers. Kodak ESP 7250 is one of those middle of the road printers. The photo print quality is good but not fantastic. But elsewhere, the Kodak is a solid performer with all the features of a printer, look good and quiet. What makes this printer over the rest is the low cost of printing. So if you're not super picky about their photos and want to save some money in the long run, and still a solid printer, the Kodak ESP 7250 is the way to go. If my review was available, click "YES" below Thanks and happy printing! 234 of 240 people found this review helpful. Printer fabulous we can not live without Susan H. Reynolds My family has been lucky enough to get one of these printers to test for a few months. We had to send the printer back testing yesterday, but I place my order today. Print quality and speed is amazing, the design is elegant and highly functional printer and supplies are cheap compared to HP Deskjet Dinky we used. I found Kodak's unparalleled technical support, especially compared to HP and Canon. Kodak also built in a Help for photo editing and printing. I did all of the 100 Christmas cards with photo only with this software, and I spent less than one black and one color cartridge. The wireless feature is great, my husband can print from his laptop and my Windows work printed by his daughter's Macbook files from his room. I knew I could not print from an iPod Touch, but it will get the free application printing are not paid to write this but you.
