Most helpful customer reviews 33 of 33 people found this review helpful. Great Value! Brian long time I had this printer is not a substitute but a complement to the Brother laser printer that I have. It was also quite good to replace my old Epson scanner, which shows signs of aging. Advantages: Very easy to install. I have a Mac, and it is basically plug n play, like most Mac-compatible products. My OS immediately recognized the new hardware and asked the necessary software is very intuitive and easy to understand. The display is easy to understand and do most jobs from the printer itself, without having to open any program on your computer. For example, you want a single copy of the press, somewhat more "COPY" and is in seconds. Scan, the same thing, but it will automatically open the appropriate program for you after you press the "SCAN" ... It can work in reverse Even so, you always open the program manually. It seems to be of tremendous value to obtain a 3-in-1 deal I did not use the fax feature yet, but I imagine that it would produce results similar to the scanner and printer. Scanning quality seems good. I scan some pretty basic web-vision kind of images, and so I think most scanners are adequate for this purpose. If you want to scan things for a maximum stroke of the press or larger, then it probably will not do it for you. Scanning area is just a little 'larger size letter. Disadvantages: With regard to the decision surprisingly, this printer does not necessarily give you that. For copies of documents and standards get the job done and then some. If you are looking for a printer that can make really good pictures (something that will be used specifically for printing photos), so you might as well splurge and get something that will give you great resolution. Although this printer is not bad, you'll be much happier with splurging a little "more to deal dope. So this combo is very nice, I honestly do not see myself using it to print (as in Word documents) as much as I use the copy and scan functions. But if you have a small office or even want this for your small business, it looks like it will do the trick for you. For this price, it seems really hard to beat. I have a whole range of Canon products now and they all stood up to their reputation. They are durable and seem to last the entire time without a break to have. Large Footprint is decent JS Printing With Green This printer is ideal for a small office at home. It has a simple structure, fast text printing and a good support network with a few deft scan, but takes a lot of desk space and may have some problems with Windows XP machines. The printer comes with two cartridges of standard size (XL versions are available in different order), a USB cable, a telephone, and a sample box of small paper, because I have a fax printer, I did not go the fax. Pro: He has good specs for this price. It prints about 8.5 scale new printer in black, and about 4 when printing in black. It does not take long to print, as some HP inkjet printers I own - the printing begins and ends very quickly. The document feeder holds about 15 pages or more. The paper path is straight, meaning that it is quite easy to print on photo paper and Avery labels, due to a straight paper path. The printer is designed trays and output angles are quite steep, so they do not occupy much space. The printer has a nice feature where you push the button and scan with a particular system is connected to the home network. The file goes to a directory on your computer for later use this feature works with the document feeder or the flatbed scanner, so you can easily scan multiple pages. It is a great time.
